Miss HerNia & Co
Miss HerNia & Co present Tasty, a phlegm-pop baroque opera of slime, sweat, and waste. Excavated from the Whitechapel fatberg in 2017, Miss HerNia’s brood of part-human, part-fatberg offspring stage a delirious theatre of grotesque excess—shame-stamina pieing, metal-exorcism by crowdsurf, Karen-pop incantations—queering decadence, weaponising shit, and choreographing collapse as joyful carnival.
Their empire of ooze has already seeped across institutions and arenas: from the Royal Academy to CAPC Bordeaux, Glastonbury, and the Turner Prize stage with Peaches; from commandeering a Southend shopping centre to broadcasting beauty tutorials on Focal Point Gallery’s Big Screen. Tasty continues this operatic gorge, drawing audiences into a carnal carnival where abjection and ecstasy entwine.
